I can name and understand some features of instructions.

Instructions tell us how something should be done. Instructions are written as commands using verbs to tell us how something should be done. Instructions are often in a set order or sequence. Instructions often have sequencing language and are numbered to help to follow the order. Instructions may include pictures or diagrams to help to show what they do.
