Show transcript
Exaggeration is a key feature of persuasive adverts. Comparatives and superlatives are techniques used to exaggerate and persuade. Comparatives are used to compare two or more things. Superlatives are used to compare one noun to an entire group of nouns, placing it at a higher degree. Comparatives and superlatives are formed using suffixes or the words 'more' and 'most' to adapt adjectives.
