I can identify the meaning and the correct pronunciation of homonyms based on their context.

Two or more words that are spelt the same but have different meanings are called homonyms. Some homonyms are spelt the same, but have contrasting sounds and different meanings (e.g. tear, wind, wound or read). The meaning and word class of homonyms can be determined by their context.
