Instructions or commands tell someone what to do. Giving an instruction to someone can be useful in teaching them something or giving them information. Instructions mostly start with verbs, such as 'feed your cat twice a day' or 'give your cat a bowl of water'. Instructions can come in a sequence using sequencing language, such as 'First, put a bed down for your cat.'. A command can include a list, such as 'Give your cat water, food and love.'.
