The suffix -al often turns nouns into adjectives.
When the root word ends in ‘e’, remove the ‘e’ and add the suffix.
There are many ways to represent the ‘l’ sound in a word, including ‘l’, ‘ll’, ‘le’, ‘il’, ‘el’ and ‘al’.
