I can spell words that sound the same (homophones).

Two or more words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings are called homophones. We can use the context of a sentence to figure out the spelling of the homophone. There are no spelling rules for homophones so we must learn them by sight. We can look for naughty letters to help us to remember tricky spellings. How to spell the curriculum words: century, breath and breathe.
