Show transcript
Proper nouns name specific people, places and things. After forming a capital letter, you lift your pencil and place it on the correct starting point for the next letter. Capital letters do not join to the next letter, they sit on their own. The remaining letters in the proper noun will be joined using a range of joins depending on the letters in the word. There is appropriate spacing between the letters.
