Presentations are much more engaging when the speaker does not simply read off a page or memorise word for word. Effective cue cards will give just the right amount of information to help to deliver and structure a presentation. If you take questions, try and respond with new content rather than repeating parts of the presentation. Asking open questions can invite developed responses. If you are unsure how to answer a question, using tentative phrases can help.
