Show transcript
Retelling a story helps us to remember the main events in a story and think about the different parts. Some events in a story can be joined using a joining "and". Story mountains map out the beginning, middle and end. Powerful adjectives can be added to a story mountain, such as "ferocious", "vibrant" and "playful". Retelling the story in the first person means we have to imagine we are the main character.
