The SSCs [ain] and [in] sound the same. This is also the same sound as [aim/im]. When this nasal sound appears in front of the letters -p or -b, it is spelled [im] instead of [in], e.g. 'timbre'. In French, the subject pronoun 'on' is used to talk about what people in general do. 'On' can be translated as 'everyone' (or 'people'), 'you' or 'one'. It is commonly used in French. The pronoun 'on' uses the same verb endings as 'il, elle'.
