I can use ne…pas and ne…jamais for negation, jouer à/de to describe playing sports and instruments, and ask questions about new experiences.
Show transcript
When the next word begins with a vowel, -s and -t are pronounced, rather than being silent final consonants.
Add a 't' in an inversion question when the verb ends in a vowel and the pronoun begins in a vowel: A-t-il une voiture?
To say what doesn't happen, we use ne...pas around the verb. To say what never happens, use ne...jamais.
Use jouer à to talk about playing sports and jouer de to talk about playing instruments.
À combines with le/les to form au/aux and de combines with le/les to form du/des.
