Show transcript
Use le/la/les (definite articles) to mean 'the' and un/une/des (indefinite articles) to mean 'a' or 'some' in plural.
Use un/une (indefinite article) to describe 'whole' things, and du/de la/de l' (partitive article) for 'parts' of things
Indefinite articles (un, une, des) and partitive articles (du, de la, de l', des) change to 'de' after a negative.
The imperfect tense is used to describe what 'was happening' or what you 'were doing' or what you 'used to' do.
Quebec is the largest of the thirteen provinces of Canada and its official language is French.
