Verbs like choisir, partir, venir in the present also form their past participles in the same way: choisi, parti, venu.
Verbs like 'traduire' and 'écrire' form their past participles in the same way: 'traduit', 'écrit'.
Some common irregular verbs and their past participles are: 'avoir' ('eu'), 'faire' ('fait'), 'boire' ('bu').
