Show transcript
Use interrogative adjectives quel (m.sing), quelle (f.sing), quels (mpl), + quelles (fpl) to ask ‘which’. Use demonstrative adjectives ce, cet, cette, ces to mean ‘this/that/those’. They often answer the question ‘which’. Some verbs in French are followed by 'de' and an infinitive; others by 'a' and an infinitive. Opinion, modal verbs and 'aller' are followed directly by an infinitive. Two-verb structures that don’t translate word-for-word into English require additional practice.
