Lesson outcome

I can use verbs like 'prendre' in the 1st and 2nd persons plural to talk about learning a language.

Show transcript
[r] is pronounced as in 'rue'. [r] is pronounced in the back of the throat to make the raspy sound which is different to English 'r'. For the 1st and 2nd persons plural of 'prendre', remove -re, then 'd' from the stem, and add the endings 'ons' and 'ez'. The verbs 'apprendre' and 'comprendre' follow the same pattern.
