Show transcript
The French 'g' has 2 sounds: soft before e, i and y and hard before other letters. With a definite article, 'l'allemand' is a noun, without an article it is an adjective. With capital letter, 'Allemand' is a noun meaning a person from Germany, as with 'anglais' and other languages. We use the present tense of 'aller' followed by an infinitive to express future plans. We use 'nous allons' and 'vous allez' + infinitive to express what we and you (plural) are going to do.
