Being able to ask questions in different tenses, as well as answer them, is key to successful communication. Using qui, que, où and quand in relative clauses provides more information and adds complexity. [qu] sounds like 'question' or 'quatre', [en/an] sound like 'enfant' and [e] sounds like 'je'.
