Nasal vowel sounds occur when one or more vowels precede a nasal consonant, e.g. an, un, ain, on, en.
When a nasal sound such as [an] is followed by a vowel, it is no longer a nasal sound, e.g. 'aucune'.
'Ne ... aucun' is a negative structure meaning 'not any' or 'no' before a singular noun.
'Aucun/aucune' must agree in gender with the noun it refers to.
