Ordinal numbers are created by (removing -e and) adding -ième to a number: deuxième, onzième. in- or im- can be added to adjectives, adverbs or nouns to give the opposite meaning. English equivalent is un- or in-. The letter [x] can be heard before a vowel. This is called liaison and is common in ordinal numbers. [in] sounds like 'train' and [im] sounds like 'faim': incorrect, impossible.
