I can use adjectives as nouns and a range of adjectives before and after the noun to describe a family event.

Many adjectives also function as nouns when preceded by a definite article (le, la, les).
It is common to hear adjectives used as nouns to mean ''the [adjective] one'' e.g Je veux la verte!
Adjectives that come before the noun fit into five categories: BRAGS (Beauty, Rank, Age, Good/Bad and Size/quantity).
