'Aller' + infinitive describes what is going to happen; it tends to be used in more informal conversation and writing.
The simple future expresses what will happen; it tends to be used in more formal contexts for predictions or promises.
Most consonants at the end of words are silent, e.g. 'tu mangeras'.
It is helpful to practise verb manipulation, e.g. 'jouer', 'je joue', 'je vais jouer', 'je jouerai'.
