I can use common irregular verbs in the present and future tense when making summer plans.

The present tense forms of 'aller' and 'faire' are highly irregular and must be learnt. French has just one present tense. Time adverbs differentiate between habitual (I do) and ongoing (I am doing) actions. [i] sounds like 'midi' and [e] sounds like 'je'. The simple future stem for the verb 'aller' is 'ir-'. Regular future endings are added to this stem. The simple future stem for the verb 'faire' is 'fer-'. Regular future endings are added to this stem.
