I can use the present tense of -er, -ir and the four groups of -re verbs in the context of cultural events in France.

The three infinitive endings in French are -er, -ir and -re. Regular verbs follow a common and consistent pattern when conjugated. The four groups of -re verbs are: verbs like 'entendre', like 'prendre', like 'traduire' and verbs like 'écrire'. 'Connaitre' is conjugated in the present tense as: connais, connais, connait, connaissons, connaissez, connaissent.
