Show transcript
Indirect object pronouns replace the person, people or thing(s) that the verb action is done to.
The singular indirect object pronouns are: me, te, lui, and vous.
The 'e' in me/te sounds like the 'e' in 'cheval'; the 'ui' in lui like 'huit' and the [ou] in vous sounds like 'nous'.
Indirect object pronouns precede the conjugated verb. In the perfect tense, they precede both parts of the verb.
