The sound [è/ê] is pronounced as in the word tête. 'Je viens', 'tu viens' and 'il, elle vient' are singular forms of the -ir verb 'venir'. 'Je sors', 'tu sors' and 'il, elle sort' are singular forms of the -ir verb 'sortir'. For a 'yes/no' or closed inversion question in French, swap the subject and the verb (e.g. Sors-tu ce soir ?) A two-verb inversion question follows this word order: pronoun + verb + infinitive (e.g. Aimes-tu sortir ?)
