The SSC [h] is silent in French, like in the words 'hôtel', 'hôpital' and 'heure'.
Adverbs of time tell you when something happens, e.g. 'le week-end prochain' which means 'next weekend'.
'Mardi', used without an article, means 'on Tuesday' or 'this coming Tuesday'. 'Ce mardi' means the same.
'Le mardi' means 'on Tuesday' or 'every Tuesday'. We use this to talk about what we do every week.
The 'nous' form of verbs like 'choisir' ends in -issons, the 'vous' form ends in -issez.
