I can read aloud and understand a text about a dream with familiar and unfamiliar words.

The sound-symbol correspondences [o/au/eau] all have the same sound as in 'gauche', left.
The SSC [eau] is also a word which means water in French.
Preparing to understand a new text means learning key new words and also revising vocabulary.
'Moi' and 'toi' mean 'me' and 'you'. We use them when we want to emphasise who.
Reading aloud really helps us to practise good pronunciation.
