Show transcript
In French, you change a statement into a question by raising your voice at the end. This is an intonation question. The verbs 'être' (to be) and 'avoir' (to have) are two important verbs to know in French. They are irregular. The verb 'parler' (to speak) is an -er verb. Other regular -er verbs follow the same verb endings pattern. In French, most adjectives go after the noun. These are postnominal adjectives. Adjectives must agree with the gender of the noun they describe: un vélo gris, une voiture grise.
