Show transcript
The Albert Dock is located in central Liverpool on the north shore of the River Mersey. Maps at different scales and their features help describe location in detail. The Albert Dock went into decline from the 1860s until it was abandoned in 1971. Regeneration of the Albert Dock began in 1981 and was reopened in 1984. The regeneration features mixed land use to support social, economic and environmental development.
