You can describe what the local area is like where you live, and name some jobs that people do there.

Maps and fieldwork can help us identify key features and where they are.
Marshes are low-lying, wet places near rivers and coasts, that often flood, and they attract a range of wildlife.
People do lots of different jobs: some need to be done wherever you live and some are unique to a locality.
