Show transcript
Challenge your language skills by limiting the amount of support or time you have to prepare. A two-verb structure contains a conjugated verb and another verb in the infinitive or past participle. In two-verb structures, the second verb comes at the end of the clause. Some conjunctions (e.g., 'weil') trigger word order three, which sends the conjugated verb to the end of the clause. Word order 3 conjunctions affect clauses in all tenses, and in both single and two-verb structures.
