I can understand a wide range of vocabulary for transactional purposes in the town, understand and ask questions using 'Sie', and take part in a role-play scenario.

Break compound words down into two or more individual words to work out their meaning. Form questions with 'Sie' for formal 'you'. The 'Sie' form of the verb is usually the same as the infinitive. Use 'dessen' and 'deren' as relative pronouns to mean 'whose'. In a role-play, you are required to say a short phrase in response to each prompt. You will be addressed using 'Sie'. In a role-play, it is important to include at least one verb in each phrase. You must also ask one question.
