I can ask open and closed questions in the present and future tenses, with modal and reflexive verbs, using intonation effectively to read aloud and ask questions about future technology.
Show transcript
A closed question is formed by swapping the position of the verb and subject in a statement.
Add a question word in front of the verb to change a closed question into an open one.
In questions with reflexive verbs, only subject and verb swap position, and the reflexive pronoun follows the subject.
Future or modal (2-verb) questions swap the subject and 1st verb; the infinitive remains at the end.
Varied intonation and accurate pronunciation matter in speaking and reading aloud; punctuation and understanding help.
