I can use the present tense forms of 'sein' and 'haben' when communicating with my friends.

[j] is pronounced as in 'ja'. Loan words from English beginning with 'j' are pronounced like the English 'j' in 'jeans'.
'Sein' is an irregular verb meaning 'to be': 'ich bin; du bist; sie, er, es ist; wir sind; sie sind'.
'Haben' is an irregular verb meaning 'to have': 'ich habe; du hast; sie, er, es hat; wir haben; sie haben'.
