I can use strong verbs, modal verbs and 'jed-' when explaining the rules of a game, and complete a dictogloss task to reinforce my understanding and use of language.
Show transcript
A strong verb has a vowel change in the verb stem of the 2nd and 3rd person singular forms.
Modal verbs (e.g., 'können') are used with an infinitive, which is placed at the end of the sentence.
'Jed-' means 'every'. Use the same ending as the definite article if the noun is the subject: ‘jeder', 'jede', 'jedes’.
When a masculine noun is the object in the sentence, use 'jeden'. The feminine and neuter forms remain unchanged.
Dictogloss tasks help you practise language through summarising and reproducing language you have read or heard.
