[z] is pronounced like 'Zug' and sounds like the English 'ts' at the end of the word 'boots'.
The verb 'sein' means 'to be/being'. 'Ich bin' means 'I am' and 'du bist' means 'you are'.
'Nicht' means 'not' when used before an adjective.
'Kein' means 'not a' and is used to negate nouns; 'kein' for masculine/neuter nouns, 'keine' for feminine nouns.
