Show transcript
There is a German-speaking community in Namibia. Verb endings show who is doing an action. Subject pronouns represent the person, people or thing(s) doing the verb and have specific verb endings. Verb endings for weak verbs are ‘ich’ -e, ‘du’ -st, ‘sie, er, es’ -t, ‘wir’ -en and ‘sie’ (they) -en. Possessive adjectives show who possesses something, and must match the noun in gender and number.
