Regular revisiting of phonic rules supports effective transcription and reading aloud.
Practising new and known vocabulary regularly supports successful recall.
For 24-hour clock, we say 'Uhr' instead of ':' and minutes are said as numbers, e.g., 'vierzehn Uhr fünfunddreißig'.
Open questions are formed by using a question word and inverting the subject and verb, e.g., 'Wann gehen wir ins Kino?'.
