I can use the conditional, 'hätte' and 'wäre' to say what I would like to do in future.

To talk about something something you would or might do, use 'würd-' to mean ‘would’ and an infinitive verb at the end. Use 'gern' and 'lieber' with 'würde' to talk about what we would like or would prefer to do. To say 'would have', use 'hätte'. To say 'would be', use 'wäre'.
