Lesson outcome

I can use ‘bis’ as a preposition and as a conjunction to talk about school this year.

Show transcript
When [th] is in the same syllable, it sounds like English ‘t’. The preposition 'bis' indicates an end-point in time and means ‘until’, ‘up to’ or ‘by’. Use a preposition (‘zu’, ‘an’, ‘in’) with the preposition 'bis' when the following noun has an article. With days of the week, months and dates, use 'bis' with or without 'zu'. Use conjunction ‘bis’ with word order three (sending the verb to the end) to mean ‘until’.
