Cardinal numbers are numbers used for counting or expressing quantity. Ordinal numbers tell us the order of something.
For numbers 13-99, say the 2nd digit first e.g., 'vierundzwanzig' = '24'. For 21-99, add ‘und’ between the two numbers.
For prices, place the € after the numbers and separate euros and cents with a comma. Always say 'Euro' in the singular.
For ordinal numbers, add -te for numbers 1-19 and -ste for 20+. To say 'on' a date, use 'am' and add -n to the number.
KaDeWe is short for 'Kaufhaus des Westens' and is a famous large department store in Berlin.
