Show transcript
Modal verbs are usually used with a second verb in the infinitive at the end of the sentence or clause. The stems of some modal verbs are irregular, with vowel changes in most singular forms. When describing a photo, use the acronym PALM. It stands for People, Action, Location, Mood. Add your own opinions too. It is helpful to predict follow-up questions on a theme for developing conversation after describing a photo. In conversation, develop answers by adding opinions and reasons, varying the subject, and adding different time frames.
