I can categorise vocabulary to support my revision, can recall and apply four plural rules in German, and can respond to poetry.

Plural rule 1: most masculine and neuter nouns add ‘-e’ or ‘-e + umlaut’ to form a plural.
Plural rule 2: masculine and neuter nouns ending in ‘-el’, ‘-en’, ‘-er’ are often the same in the plural.
Plural rule 3: most feminine nouns add ‘-n’ or ‘-en’ to form a plural.
Plural rule 4: some masculine and neuter nouns add ‘-er’ at the end and an umlaut on the vowel to form a plural.
