Show transcript
Some past participles are irregular. In the imperfect tense, the stem of 'mögen' is 'moch-'. It still takes the regular imperfect tense endings. 'Mochte' is normally followed by a noun. In the perfect tense, ‘mögen’ becomes 'gemocht' and means ‘liked’. Use 'gefallen' in the perfect tense to mean ‘liked’. Use indirect object pronouns with 'gefallen'.
