Historians sometimes use criteria to judge the significance of events, developments or people’s actions. These include: how many people were affected; how well remembered it has been; how long lasting the effects were. Other criteria might be: how were people’s lives affected; who has been affected? A good argument about the most significant legacy of Ancient Greece is likely to use some of these criteria. A good argument about the most significant legacy of Ancient Greece will use knowledge from across this unit.
