I can explain why Emily Davison joined the Suffragettes.

Not getting her degree because she was a woman made Emily Davison very angry. Something else that women were not allowed to do was to vote. This made Emily very angry as well. Emily joined a group of women who were fighting for women to be allowed to vote. This group was called the Suffragettes.
