I can describe Paul Stephenson's life when he was evacuated during the Second World War.

Paul Stephenson was born in 1937 and was evacuated when he was three years old because of the Second World War.
He lived in the countryside for the next seven years and enjoyed paddling in streams and hunting rabbits.
However, Paul was always treated differently because he was the only black child.
When he returned to London his classmates made fun of the colour of his skin.
