Recall one and two more or less than numbers to ten

When we add one, we can see this as the number after in our count. We can think of this as one more. When we subtract one, we can see this as the number before in our count. We can think of this as one less. Adding two from an even/odd number, we can see this as the even/odd number after. We can think of this as two less. Subtracting two from an even/odd number, can be seen as the even/odd number before. We can think of this as two less.
