Show transcript
You can measure length in any direction. When you measure height, you start from the bottom of the object and measure to the top to find how tall something is. When you measure length, you start at one end and measure to the other end to find how long or how wide something is. When you measure distance, you start and stop where the object started and stopped to find how far it has travelled.
