Show transcript
A single coin can represent the same amount as several one pennies. The value of a ten-pence coin is not related to its size, shape, colour or quantity. A ten-pence coin has a value of ten pence or 10 p. The value of a ten-pence coin is equal to the value of ten one-pence coins. We can represent a ten-pence coin as a ten-spot token.
